Forte de São Marcelo

The Fort of São Marcelo is also known as Fort of the Sea has 2.500m ². Its rounded shape has been specially designed to allow the defense and attack in any direction - even against the city of Salvador, which has been bombing the Forte am 1912. Currently, it is open to visitors, housing bar, restaurant and art gallery.
